Update for 11/28/05

New review for The Three Keys #1 by Nik Havert and Paul Schultz, as well as a pile of books from Nik for the store. Also, Francois Vigneault did a reader review, as you know you guys can write these things too if you want to, right? It’s not like I have any special training or anything, just a willingness to ramble. Here’s his new review.

Update for 11/24/05

Happy Thanksgiving! This is for the people who want an excuse to sit at the computer for a bit and avoid time with the family. New reviews for Elm City Jams #3 by Isaac Cates and Mike Wenthe and Treeby Kooba #2 by Jeremy C. This is probably it for the week, but I will be going to a convention in Columbus this weekend, so there should be all kinds of new stuff in the coming weeks. Also, I wanted to make it clear that if you order comics from me before December 15th, they WILL get to you by Christmas. I’ve decided to get into the holiday spirit and pay a bit extra for postage if it needs it to get there on time, unless you live out of the country, in which case I don’t have THAT much of a holiday spirit. Humbug!

Update for 11/22/05

New review for Division Shadow by Patrick Meaney, which is also available in the online store…

New review for Pale Fire #1 by MK Reed, and I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but it’s supposed to snow in Ohio tomorrow…

Update for 11/14/05

New review for Unlucky #1 by Matthew Hawkins, and I think things should be more or less back to normal here now…

Update for 11/9/05

New review for The Balloon by Leslie Augenbraun, and sorry about the slow week for updates but I’m still completely wiped out from the election, in which not a single one of the issues here passed…

Update for 11/7/05

New review for Cruel World #6 by Anton Emdin, and no update for tomorrow because I’ll be working at the Board of Elections for 14 hours. So get out and vote! Unless you genuinely don’t care about the whole thing, and who am I to decry that kind of persistent apathy?

Update for 11/3/05

New review for Double Woodwork by John Bagnall. Everybody in Columbus is going to vote on Tuesday, right? Still a few vital issues there for you to vote on, even without all the inherent sexiness of a vote for the higher offices…

Update for 11/2/05

Anders Nilsen (Big Questions #6)! Jeff Levine (Watching Days Become Years #2)! I had the extra time today, so I rambled a bit about two comics from two of my favorite comics people. Not to give away the surprise endings of the reviews or anything…

Update for 11/1/05

Happy day after Halloween! New review for Yet Another SPX 2005 Reject Mini by Jeff Zwirek. Also, in case anybody comes here on a daily basis, this next week is going to be lousy for updates. I’ll do my best, but the election coming up means some late nights at work, and next Tuesday I’ll be at work for 14 hours, so no update then. I have plenty of comics here though so I’ll do all I can to keep getting 5 up a week…
